We had a fun, energetic blast of a Drum Aerobics class last night at North Central Michigan College (NCMC). It was even more fun than the previous classes at NCMC since we are now positioned on the main floor gymnasium. Why is that even better? Because there is more room to spread out and we could see our fun spill over to the observing faces above us on the walking track. Every one present was drumming to some great music and working up a sweat during these cold days and nights in January in Petoskey!
Come join us! Drop-in and different payment plans are available. We meet every Tuesday and Thursday for six weeks. But you can jump in any time and/or come to the nights that work best for you. Call 1 (231) 439-6370 to reserve your spot!.

The movements can be modified for people of all ages and differing abilities. The stability ball acts as a power drum with the use of lightly-weighted drumsticks. Join Lynn Turner, executive director of the Northern Michigan Drum Village, who contends that if you have a heartbeat, you have rhythm."
